The U-Kan MICHELIN brand was created in January 2006 by Pierre Charmeau. The Michelin / U-Kan products were released in the spring of 2007 but the brand unfortunately did not last very long, even though it had relaunched the roller step-in, a cockpit principle in which one entered with a shoe.
